Ferguson, Missouri has a history that is worth exploring when looking at the 2014 incident between 18-year-old Michael Brown and Darren Wilson, a policeman with Ferguson Police Department.
On Tuesday, November 10th the Community Psychology, Liberation Psychology, and Ecopsychology Specialization welcomes Dr. George Libsitz of U.C., Santa Barbara for the presentation Fair Housing and the Ferguson Conjuncture. Dr. Libsitz will explore a ninety-year history of the area in an effort to better understand the ninety-second interaction between Michael Brown and Officer Darren Wilson that took place in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014.
